| Mining Engineer John T Boyd Company (est. 1943) is an internationally recognised consulting firm, offering considerable expertise in consulting at the operational and strategic levels in the mining industry. The Australian office, established in 2001, manages assignments across Australia, Asia and internationally. This is an opportunity to join an energetic team of experts in delivering outcomes across a variety of projects from a Brisbane base. Assignments include feasibility studies, due diligence, project evaluations, as well as mine planning and design, and require contribution to research, project efficiency, cost effectiveness and client liaison. Applications are invited from candidates with tertiary qualifications in Mining or Civil Engineering, 3-10 years+ post-graduate experience in coal/metalliferous mining and with strong motivation to contribute high level technical expertise and innovative problem solving to a dynamic team. Energy and interpersonal skills will support the ability to influence others to achieve desired outcomes. Experience in business development and managing client relationships would be well regarded.
